Amphibians

About

Frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, Syrian spadefoot, tree frogs, and others are members of the amphibian section. They require water to reproduce as well as to exist. From here we derive the name of the section. Another characteristic of the section is the essential difference between the young and the mature, and the development process, which is called metamorphosis. For example, the frog lays eggs in water, and from the eggs tadpoles hatch. Only once mature will they transform into frogs in their recognizable structure.
