Friiends of the Tisch Family Zoological Gardens 

A society formed to assist the zoo in many spheres, the Friends of the Zoo is made up of people who lend their financial support to the zoo's activities, and devote themselves to sponsoring specific projects. The assistance of the Friends of the Zoo is most vital, and they are rewarded with the satisfaction of being partners in the zoo's educational, cultural, and zoological accomplishments.

Every June, the Friends of the Zoo hold their main event of the year, namely the prestigious annual gala celebration. In this affair, the Friends have an opportunity to meet with the management and staff of the zoo, to be informed first-hand of new developments and events taking place at the zoo, and to see demonstrations of the zoo's latest attractions.

A Friends' membership card entitles its holder to enter the zoo on any day, accompanied by up to four guests. Members entitled to discounts at the snack bars, cafeteria and souvenir shops.
