After School Programs

Registration for the zoo after school 2009-2010 program has started!

Games, animal facts, and live animals are all part of our weekly after school programs suitable for ages 5-11. These programs run during the school year and we meet once a week at the zoo. Many topics are discussed and there is a lot of interactive activity with the animals including visits behind the scenes and meeting with animal keepers. This is a fun and educational way to learn about animal conservation, and to meet other kids with common interests!

1. Activities:
   • Visits the Children's Zoo and interactive contact with friendly animals.
   • Animal observations and behind the scenes visits
2. • Specific zoo tours on different topics, discussing different animal habitats behaviors 
   • Fun learning through games, puzzles, experiments and more
   Plus! Free membership for the school year.
